WordPress Developer – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the existing blog structure and its reliance on the external frontend.

• Choose or create a WordPress theme that aligns with the current design and structural needs.

• Adjust the theme and styling to conform to established design guidelines.

• Ensure proper SEO functionality post-migration, including meta tags, page speed, and indexing.

• Establish and confirm compatibility with SEO and other essential plugins, including those for LLM/AI file generation.

• Offer suggestions for ongoing support and future scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in WordPress theme development and customization.

• Experience in migrating or decoupling headless/JAMstack front-ends back to native WordPress.

• Strong knowledge of WordPress SEO best practices, including meta tags, schema markup, site speed, and indexing.

• Familiarity with working with SEO and other WordPress plugins, including troubleshooting compatibility issues.

• Knowledge of plugins for LLM/AI file generation, such as llms.txt, is advantageous.

• Capacity to work independently and provide a clear action plan along with its implementation.
