Senior Developer Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure that applications and resources embrace best practices regarding performance, security, technical excellence, and governance.

• Act as a point of reference in software architecture, particularly in areas such as Cloud Native, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

• Implement secure development practices, along with profiling, performance analysis for applications and databases, as well as monitoring.

• Grasp and apply concepts related to generative AI, LLMs, and market frameworks/models, which include open-source solutions, ChatGPT, and Bedrock.

• Facilitate and enforce technology governance by means of an Architecture Board, ADRs, Tech Radar, and technical maturity indicators.

• Establish architectural standards across frontend, mobile, backend, APIs, messaging, and cloud, crafting blueprints and ensuring uniformity across squads and business units.

• Oversee CI/CD, DevSecOps, security automation, unit, integration, and E2E testing, along with continuous quality and infrastructure as code (IaC).

• Enhance Developer Experience (DX) through the creation of internal tools, templates, and automation.

• Implement SRE practices, which encompass SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, incident management, and post-mortems.

• Serve as a technical mentor for architects, Tech Leads, and senior engineers by fostering talent, facilitating technical conversations, and exerting influence without formal authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in senior technical leadership roles.

• Proven experience in complex environments that involve multiple products/business areas, along with the implementation of governance and enterprise standards.

• Expertise in Cloud Native, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and observability.

• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiar with observability tools like New Relic, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Knowledgeable in messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Pub/Sub.

• Understanding of generative AI as it pertains to development, internal platforms, SaaS integrations, and mobile applications.

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.

• Preferred certifications include: AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional; OCI Architect Associate/Professional; OCI Multicloud Architect Professional; OCI Migration Architect Professional; OCI-certified and AWS-certified instructor.
