Windchill Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, testing, and support of PTC Windchill solutions tailored to client requirements.

• Mentor and guide development teams to achieve both functional and technical excellence.

• Develop and customize Windchill extensions and integrations, including CAD tools, Change Objects, BOMs, Parts, Documents, and Effectivity.

• Diagnose, debug, and maintain Windchill environments to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.

• Strategically plan and execute upgrades, data migrations, and integration initiatives from legacy systems.

• Perform gap analyses and offer recommendations for data cleansing, preparation, and migration best practices.

• Design and propose high-level PLM solutions that enhance product development and foster collaboration.

• Establish and implement software testing protocols to guarantee system quality and ensure client satisfaction.

• Act as a thought leader by introducing innovative Windchill strategies that contribute to client success and business expansion.

• Convert complex technical solutions into viable business solutions while mitigating risks and coordinating with ArcherGrey’s technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with PTC Windchill and Windchill APIs.

• Proficient in Java and JSP programming.

• Practical experience with Windchill 11.1 or later versions.

• Demonstrated consulting experience in designing and delivering enterprise PLM solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience in system upgrades, data migration, and integration projects.

• Strong analytical abilities and a knack for troubleshooting complex technical challenges.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance.

• Required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hiring.
