Wind Turbine Technician – Enercon

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Guide and train fellow technicians while providing on-site hands-on assistance.

• Carry out routine maintenance and respond to unanticipated turbine emergencies.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.

• Perform comprehensive inspections and replace parts as necessary.

• Keep detailed service reports and maintain turbine performance documentation.

• Ensure all tasks adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, offering maintenance updates.

• Recognize potential hazards and resolve them proactively.

• Guarantee that wind turbine components comply with quality and reliability criteria.

• Promote safe and effective operation of both electrical and mechanical elements.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance turbine performance and efficiency.

• Utilize error and gap analysis, response metrics, and operational data to refine operations.

• Occasionally coordinate with the control room to oversee global turbine monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Enercon turbines or comparable models.

• Must possess either a CT or an AT certification.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

• Ability to work at heights and in diverse weather conditions.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Thorough understanding of safety standards and industry regulations.

• Capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
