Wind Hub Manager – Nebraska 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership to enhance a multi-site service hub.

• Initiate and support staffing needs, coaching, training, corrective actions, and succession planning for both employees and contracted partners.

• Take ownership of the safety culture within the hub, including contracted partners and customers.

• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls while prioritizing and managing the dispatch schedule.

• Foster long-term customer relationships and ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.

• Prioritize escalation of customer concerns to the Customer Performance Director.

• Collaborate with Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR to achieve deliverables.

• Focus on turbine performance to meet or exceed performance commitments.

• Oversee facility operations across multiple sites with innovative problem-solving and a LEAN approach.

• Manage operations within a multi-site service hub, including weekly site visits.

• Promote safety focus, growth of customer relationships, team engagement, and talent development.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is essential.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant field services experience, including leadership roles.

• Willingness and ability to travel within the hub, which may include overnight stays.

• A valid driver’s license must be maintained.

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Technical Certification in Wind Energy or in the Electrical/Electronic field is preferred.

• Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet software, email programs, facility control and management systems, as well as diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.

• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry is advantageous.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening may be required.
