Weekend Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manage staff to ensure the efficient functioning of a high-quality, user-friendly PartnersACCESS call center.

• Provide administrative and clinical oversight, along with training and supervision for PartnersACCESS clinicians and specialists.

• Oversee 24/7/365 telephonic screening, triage, referral functions, and customer service operations.

• Schedule coverage to guarantee continuous call center operations.

• Assist subordinates in operational, administrative, and management decision-making processes.

• Assess performance and make recommendations regarding hiring, termination, and other personnel actions.

• Analyze staffing requirements and propose staffing patterns and schedules in collaboration with the Workforce Operations Analyst.

• Gather and evaluate data to formulate policies and procedures related to service access.

• Orient and train departmental staff and the community on accessing behavioral health care services.

• Document and interpret data relevant to PartnersACCESS, capacity, and service eligibility.

• Uphold Quality Management and accreditation standards and methodologies.

• Supervise contracts with local hospitals and manage the single portal for state facility admissions.

• Ensure programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prepare accurate and timely reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with providers and community stakeholders to facilitate prompt access to quality services.

• Monitor budgets and staff productivity while recommending improvements.

• Provide leadership in accreditation and quality enhancement initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed Clinician or Registered Nurse.

• 4 years of combined experience in Crisis Call Center and clinical settings in MH/SU/DD.

• 2 years of experience in an administrative supervisory role.

• Ability to travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities.

• Must reside in North Carolina.

• Current unrestricted LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT, or LCAS licensure from the appropriate professional board in North Carolina, or be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N.C. Board of Nursing.

• Compliance with continuing education/training requirements set by the respective licensure board to maintain an active license.

• Extensive knowledge of DSM-5TR, social work and psychological principles, behavioral health assessments, clinical treatment techniques, and service delivery systems.

• Experience and empathy for individuals with moderate to severe mental health issues, substance use disorders, intellectual and other developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.

• In-depth understanding of mental illness and diagnostic categories, individual and family dynamics, crisis intervention, and brief counseling techniques.

• Familiarity with psychiatric medications, their side effects, mental health regulations, and the evolving landscape of the North Carolina mental health system.

• Significant knowledge of screening and referral processes, as well as connecting consumers to community resources.

• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, arbitration, and conflict resolution skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and call center software.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal, management, and leadership skills.

• Ability to organize extensive clinical data, manage multiple tasks, and oversee projects from inception to completion.

• Capability to apply complex criteria to clinical cases for determining service eligibility and treatment referrals.

• Skill in training staff on system programs, forms, clinical competencies, and telecommunications.

• Ability to work independently and confidentially with staff, providers, service agencies, stakeholders, and officials.

• Proficient computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
