This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Deliver direct administrative and clinical guidance, training, and oversight to PartnersACCESS clinicians and specialists.
• Manage 24/7/365 telephonic screening, triage, referral, and customer service operations.
• Coordinate coverage and ensure the seamless daily functioning of the PartnersACCESS call center.
• Assist subordinates in operational, administrative, and managerial decision-making.
• Assess performance and recommend actions regarding hiring, termination, and other staffing matters.
• Evaluate staffing requirements and suggest staffing patterns and schedules alongside the Workforce Operations Analyst.
• Gather and analyze data concerning PartnersACCESS, capacity, and service eligibility.
• Formulate policies and procedures regarding access to services.
• Train and orient departmental staff and the community on accessing behavioral health care.
• Support and integrate quality management and accreditation standards.
• Oversee contracts with local hospitals and the single portal for state facility admissions.
• Ensure the continuous operation of high-quality programs that meet federal, state, and local regulations.
• Generate accurate and timely reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with providers and community stakeholders to foster understanding of Partners and facilitate timely access to quality services.
• Monitor budget and staff productivity while recommending efficiencies.
• Provide leadership in accreditation and quality enhancement initiatives.
• Travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Licensed Clinician or Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 4 years of combined Crisis Call Center and clinical experience in mental health/substance use/intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• At least 2 years of administrative supervisory experience.
• Must possess the ability to travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Residency in North Carolina is mandatory.
• Current unrestricted LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT, or LCAS licensure from the appropriate professional licensing board in North Carolina, or licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N.C. Board of Nursing.
• Compliance with the continuing education/training requirements set by the respective licensure board to maintain an active license is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of DSM-5TR, social work and psychological principles, behavioral health assessments, clinical treatment methodologies, and service delivery systems.
• Experience in dealing with moderate to severe mental health issues, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries.
• Understanding of mental illness, diagnostic categories, individual and family dynamics, crisis intervention, brief counseling, and intervention techniques.
• Familiarity with psychiatric medications and side effects, mental health regulations, and the North Carolina mental health landscape.
• Knowledge of screening and referral processes as well as connecting consumers to community resources.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, arbitration, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, and other call center platforms.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, management, and leadership competencies.
• Capability to organize extensive clinical data, handle multiple tasks and priorities, and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team environment.
• Skill in applying complex criteria to clinical cases to ascertain service eligibility and treatment referrals.
• Proficiency in training staff on system programs, forms, clinical skills, and telecommunications.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality with staff, providers, service agencies, stakeholders, and officials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
