Weekend OTC Trader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the hedging requirements of client transactions

• Deliver exceptional service to clients

• Manage risk exposures within the company's risk tolerance limits

• Handle intricate trades and enhance execution to boost trading desk revenue

• Develop and refine quantitative pricing and risk models

• Spearhead the automation of hedge execution processes

• Support risk management in establishing controls for overall market exposure

• Keep abreast of market trends and contribute to internal research efforts

• Provide insights for new products and capabilities within the trading sector

• Respond swiftly to changing exposures and client inquiries while on coverage

• Contribute to the technology roadmap and its implementation

• Share expertise with stakeholder teams

• Advocate for the Trading Solutions team's perspective in interdepartmental discussions

• Mentor junior team members

⛳️ Requirements

• Up to 3 years of experience as an OTC trader in the cryptocurrency sector

• Proven ability to convert institutional prospects into trading clients

• Skillful handling of complex trades with ongoing optimization

• In-depth mathematical expertise in crypto market microstructure, including cross-market basis opportunities, avoidance of predatory algorithms, derivatives hedging, beta hedging, away positioning, and market drivers

• Advanced knowledge of both electronic and voice trading

• Strong client-facing skills and exceptional white-glove service capabilities

• Proficient in Python programming

• Ability to manage principal trading exposure infrastructure and processes

• Willingness to participate in weekend rotations and respond to off-hour paging

• Capability to mentor junior team members
