webMethods Integration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and support integration solutions utilizing the Software AG webMethods platform in a complex enterprise setting.

• Deliver and maintain integrations among business systems, operational platforms, and external partners.

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to comprehend integration requirements and convert them into actionable solutions.

• Develop and sustain webMethods assets, including Integration Server services, APIs, Flow services, Java services, and adapter configurations.

• Provide support for integrations across development, testing, and production environments.

• Investigate and resolve message failures, data processing errors, and issues related to performance.

• Monitor and enhance integration performance, scalability, and resilience.

• Offer on-call support for mission-critical services as part of a 24x7 rotation.

• Engage in solution design, technical reviews, deployments, and production release processes.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, vendor, and operational teams.

• Maintain integration documentation, support procedures, and technical standards.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.

• Contribute to the advancement of integration capabilities, standards, and delivery practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting integrations using the Software AG webMethods platform.

• Strong proficiency with webMethods Integration Server, Flow services, APIs, and adapter development.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges across applications.

• Experience in supporting mission-critical integrations in an enterprise context, preferably within the utilities sector.

• Solid understanding of integration patterns, messaging, data transformation, and API-based integration.

• Extensive experience in designing and developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, messaging, and other enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience operating within an ITIL framework, including incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Capability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Proven client communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Ability to provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to fellow team members.

• One or more AG webMethods certifications (IBM webMethods API; IBM webMethods Integration; IBM webMethods Integration SaaS; IBM webMethods B2B SaaS).

• Extensive experience in the utilities sector is a plus.
