Webmaster – Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality assurance on numerous web edits daily.

• Ensure that the work done by Webmasters aligns with client specifications.

• Collaborate with Webmasters when there are misunderstandings regarding requirements or when tasks have cosmetic, visual, functional, or compliance issues.

• Confirm that completed tasks conform to the specific preferences of each client.

• Provide insights to Webmaster Team Managers about recurring issues and propose solutions for their resolution.

• Update internal systems with client preferences and important notes.

• Assist the team with WordPress website edits as needed.

• Work closely with Webmasters, Webmaster Team Managers, and Client Account Managers.

• Adhere to strict deadlines while ensuring exceptional quality in deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role (QA, web testing, or webmaster) is essential.

• Proficient in cross-browser, cross-device, and web accessibility QA testing.

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, and WordPress themes.

• Experience with ticketing or task management systems is required.

• Previous experience with international clients is preferable.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capable of clear communication with clients via Zoom, VOIP, and email.

• Exceptional attention to detail is necessary.

• Ability to maintain composure and provide constructive solutions under pressure.

• Skilled at managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

• Must be available for 8 hours each workday and 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

• Work hours should include 2 hours between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM Sri Lanka Standard Time and 6 hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Sri Lanka Standard Time.

• Must establish and follow a consistent work schedule.

• Weekend work is not permitted.

• A calm and quiet work environment is required.

• A dedicated desktop or laptop and headset with a microphone are necessary.

• Tablets or mobile devices cannot be used for work tasks.

• A high-speed, stable internet connection is essential.

• Work devices must have Zoom, Chrome, Firefox, Slack, antivirus software, and a mail client pre-installed.

• Additional software may need to be installed as required.

• Cannot be employed by another organization while working at Bizycorp.

• Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens or foreign nationals residing in Sri Lanka with a valid work permit.
