Senior Quality Engineer – QE Technical Lead Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement test automation frameworks from the ground up

• Set up testing strategies and quality engineering standards

• Generate automated tests utilizing Playwright or similar frameworks

• Formulate and execute strategies for API testing

• Utilize both white-box and black-box testing methodologies

• Assess code coverage and identify suitable testing methods for service-layer components

• Review code to spot potential quality risks or deficiencies

• Create relevant test cases and validation approaches

• Define testing strategies for AI-based implementations, when relevant

• Take part in adversarial testing and validation of AI-driven solutions

• Independently troubleshoot issues related to testing and automation

• Establish reusable frameworks and foundations to facilitate future QA efforts

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation

• Proven experience in designing and constructing automation frameworks from scratch

• Proficient in Playwright or equivalent automation frameworks

• Strong grasp of API testing, including familiarity with tools like Postman

• Deep knowledge of white-box and black-box testing methodologies

• Understanding of code coverage and methods to evaluate coverage at the service layer

• Capability to read, review, and analyze code

• Programming skills adequate to develop, maintain, and assess automated testing solutions

• Experience in designing test cases and formulating testing strategies

• Background in testing AI-based applications or systems

• Knowledge of adversarial prompting and techniques for AI validation

• Familiarity with model drift and methods for testing non-deterministic AI behavior

• Understanding of testing scenarios involving deterministic versus non-deterministic outcomes

• Experience in establishing QA practices in Greenfield projects

• Previous experience in a QE Technical Lead or Architect role
