Software QA Engineer Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement extensive QA strategies, standards, and best practices for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Design, execute, and sustain automated test suites for web, API, and cloud-based applications.

• Conduct code reviews and offer technical feedback to both development and QA team members.

• Manage quality assurance processes and documentation effectively.

• Create and enhance automated testing solutions that are integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

• Track and report on test outcomes, defects, and quality metrics.

• Assess, select, and deploy testing tools and technologies.

• Ensure QA practices are compliant with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and secure coding standards.

• Validate the interoperability and data integrity of systems that integrate with EHRs and clinical platforms.

• Lead and engage in Agile ceremonies.

• Mentor and guide QA engineers.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and other functional teams to support Provation products.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives and remain updated on testing tools and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proficiency in advanced test automation, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and healthcare compliance.

• Demonstrated experience in leading QA teams or initiatives.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as xUnit, WebDriver IO, Playwright, and Jasmine.

• Knowledge of Azure and AWS; certification is advantageous.

• Understanding of healthcare standards including HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, and Jira.

• Acquaintance with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• ISTQB, CSTE, or similar QA certifications are beneficial.

• Experience in mentoring or leading QA engineers and driving quality strategy.
