Web Strategy, SEO, AI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Harness’s organic discoverability strategy across both traditional search engines and AI-driven answer engines.

• Develop and enhance an AEO / AEO strategy that emphasizes entity authority, structured content, clear use-cases, and off-site citations tailored for LLM citation and summarization.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Content teams to ensure that product positioning, narratives, and use cases are effectively represented in a search- and AI-friendly site architecture.

• Drive keyword strategy, content gap analysis, and competitive audits with a focus on intent, topics, and entities rather than solely on keyword volume.

• Set standards for technical SEO, structured data, internal linking, and content templates that can be scaled across various modules and solutions.

• Oversee performance measurement using traditional SEO metrics and indicators related to AI discoverability.

• Manage and guide external SEO / AEO agencies or vendors by establishing strategy, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring accountability for performance outcomes.

• Align site architecture, content, and user experience with overarching business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in SEO within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.

• Proven ability to lead web and organic growth strategy through influence, prioritization, and vendor management, beyond just hands-on execution.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and operating a high-traffic, high-impact website.

• Strong practical expertise in SEO, covering technical, on-page, and content aspects.

• In-depth understanding of B2B buyer journeys and the role websites play in supporting demand generation.

• A proactive individual who identifies issues, proposes solutions, and drives them to successful completion.
