Web Development Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee various website development initiatives from initiation to launch, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including WordPress developers, designers, SEO experts, copywriters, and quality assurance personnel.

• Establish project scope, set priorities, determine timelines, outline deliverables, and allocate resources effectively.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients by providing project updates, managing expectations, and proactively addressing issues.

• Evaluate deliverables prior to client presentation for quality assurance, functionality, SEO best practices, accessibility, and alignment with project goals.

• Recognize project risks, eliminate obstacles, and ensure projects progress smoothly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English at a professional level (C1 or higher).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• At least 1 year of experience in managing WordPress website development projects within a digital marketing or web development agency.

• In-depth knowledge of the WordPress website development lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, quality assurance, launch, and post-launch support.

• Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, SEO specialists, and content teams.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.

• Availability to provide at least 7 hours of overlap with the 9 am-5 pm EST workday, Monday through Friday.

• Practical experience with WordPress, including basic site configuration and content management (preferred).

• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (preferred).

• Awareness of website performance metrics, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and accessibility best practices (preferred).

• Experience with website builders like Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg (preferred).

• Project Management certification (preferred).

• Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).
