Water Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Ensure Water Projects are executed in accordance with Leep’s established processes and documented procedures.

• Confirm that designated project design tasks are carried out by accredited third parties and accurately logged and reported in alignment with Guaranteed Standards of Performance (GSOP).

• Oversee each project within the capital budget while ensuring compliance with financial, commercial, and regulatory obligations.

• Maintain financial oversight, including management of purchase orders, invoice reviews, and variance reporting.

• Conduct regular site and partner audits, addressing and resolving any issues or defects that arise.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee a smooth asset handover, complete documentation and contracts, as well as compliant installation, pre-water commissioning, and testing.

• Provide operational support to the Senior Water Project Manager and Head of Project Delivery regarding site inquiries or escalations.

• Ensure that assets are delivered to the highest industry standards.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders during post-sales and pre-adoption phases.

• Assist with program forecasting, financial management, subcontractor oversight, and defect resolution.

• Identify and seize opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management or Team Supervision within a SLP or Water Company.

• Proven experience in the design and construction of potable water infrastructure.

• A solid understanding of the Water Industry NAV process.

• Extensive knowledge of multi-utility industry asset standards, such as NJUG.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication, with experience in developing and managing personnel.

• Financial acumen with a proven track record of adhering to budgets.

• Familiarity with H&S management and conducting audits.

• Knowledge of water regulatory standards applicable to the business and the necessary processes for compliance.

• Expert understanding of asset adoption and delivery legal documentation requirements.

• Proficient computer skills and reporting capabilities.
