This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Assist in migrating client projects from Legacy to Present by executing routine build tasks.
β’ Establish color schemes and import drilling data for each slide.
β’ Create and sustain a foundational Present deck that reflects the current Legacy standard.
β’ Monitor migration tasks and progress in relation to project timelines.
β’ Alert the Project Analyst team about delays, missing inputs, and potential risks.
β’ Recognize incomplete or absent client project data.
β’ Facilitate file transfers with the Data, 3D, Production, and Strategic Advisor teams.
β’ Organize project data files for team accessibility.
β’ Manage tasks, deadlines, and milestones using Asana.
β’ Keep project status and files current.
β’ Evaluate Present decks to ensure data loads correctly and that slides function as expected.
β’ Record testing issues and direct them for resolution.
β’ Review visualization materials for accuracy and consistency.
β’ Execute manual processes and administrative duties.
β’ Aid with updates, press releases, and related visualization-project modifications under the guidance of a Project Analyst.
β’ Currently participating in a co-op program in communications, business, marketing, design, geology, geoscience, mining, GIS, data management, or a related discipline.
β’ Strong visual design sensibility, including layout, color, and consistency throughout presentations.
β’ Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
β’ Keen attention to detail and patience for repetitive, slide-by-slide tasks.
β’ Clear and professional written communication skills.
β’ Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, and identifying data gaps.
β’ Ability to learn new software quickly and adhere to documented processes.
β’ Capability to juggle multiple tasks, consistently follow processes, and seek assistance promptly when facing obstacles.
β’ Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-op or internship program.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
β’ Asset: Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or PowerPoint.
β’ Asset: Relevant coursework or experience in project management or coordination.
β’ Asset: Experience with Asana, Trello, or Monday.
β’ Asset: Prior co-op, internship, or part-time experience in an office, agency, or client-facing environment.
β’ Asset: Interest in mining, natural resources, or technology.
β’ Asset: Knowledge of mining or exploration data, such as drillhole data, assays, or geological models.
β’ Asset: Exposure to 3D visualization or GIS software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS, or QGIS.
β’ Asset: Previous experience in software testing or verifying work against specifications.
β’ Asset: 0 to 2 years of experience in a technical, data, or project coordination role.
β’ Paid work term with genuine ownership of tasks.
