Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality web designs tailored for practical applications within the Tendem project.

• Create effective one-page websites, pitch-style landing pages, and straightforward marketing sites based on textual content, outlines, or pre-existing drafts.

• Convert brand assets and social media graphics into responsive web layouts and structured components for implementation by developers or no-code solutions.

• Prepare and securely package production-ready files, including organizing Figma frames, exporting assets, and detailing specifications.

• Maintain visual consistency across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and social media materials.

• Confirm responsiveness, spacing, clarity, layout quality, and compliance with contemporary web trends prior to delivery.

• Take ownership of the aesthetic of web-based materials and ensure alignment with the overall brand ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.

• Strong portfolio with a focus on landing pages, marketing websites, and product or startup one-pagers.

• Demonstrated clear hierarchy and robust typography in portfolio work.

• Experience working from rough prompts, AI-generated drafts, or established brand systems.

• User-focused and conversion-oriented mindset.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma for creating scalable, responsive web layouts, auto-layout components, and comprehensive design systems.

• Expertise in designing high-converting, pitch-style landing pages.

• Knowledge of preparing, specifying, and packaging digital assets for implementation via developers or no-code platforms such as Webflow and Framer.

• Ability to consistently translate brand aesthetics across web pages, social media content, and pitch decks.

• Strong attention to clarity, white space, and contemporary web layout trends.

• Self-motivated work ethic, with the ability to troubleshoot independently and deliver production-ready assets promptly.

• Upper-intermediate (B2) English proficiency or higher is mandatory.

• CV must include a portfolio link showcasing web design examples; applications without a portfolio link or relevant web design work will not be considered.

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related creative/technical fields is advantageous.
