Freelance Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop top-tier web designs tailored for practical applications within the Tendem project.

• Create high-conversion one-page sites, pitch-focused landing pages, and straightforward marketing websites based on copy, outlines, or pre-existing drafts.

• Convert brand materials and social media graphics into responsive web designs, well-structured components, and sections ready for developers or no-code solutions.

• Arrange Figma frames, export assets, and provide detailed specifications for a smooth production handoff.

• Maintain visual uniformity across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and social media content.

• Confirm responsiveness, spacing, clarity, layout quality, and compliance with contemporary web standards prior to delivery.

• Take ownership of the aesthetic and feel of web-based materials, ensuring alignment with the overall brand ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or similar creative/technical disciplines is advantageous.

• A robust portfolio with a strong emphasis on landing pages, marketing websites, and product or startup one-pagers.

• Comfort in working from rough outlines, AI-generated drafts, or established brand systems.

• A user-focused and conversion-oriented mindset.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Advanced skills in Figma for scalable, responsive web designs, auto-layout components, and comprehensive design systems.

• Proficiency in crafting high-converting, pitch-style landing pages.

• Understanding of how to prepare, specify, and package digital assets for developers or no-code platforms like Webflow and Framer.

• Ability to convey brand aesthetics consistently across web pages, social media materials, and pitch presentations.

• Strong attention to clarity, whitespace, and modern web design trends.

• Self-motivated work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot independently.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.

• CV must include a link to a portfolio showcasing web design samples; applications lacking relevant portfolio examples will not be considered.
