Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop high-impact one-pagers, pitch-oriented landing pages, and straightforward marketing websites based on copy, outlines, or existing drafts.

• Convert brand assets and social media visuals into adaptable web layouts and organized components.

• Arrange Figma frames, export assets, and document specifications for implementation by developers or through no-code solutions.

• Maintain visual consistency across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and promotional materials.

• Ensure responsiveness, spacing, clarity, and alignment with contemporary web standards before final delivery.

• Take ownership of the aesthetic and functionality of web materials for the Tendem project.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.

• A compelling portfolio showcasing landing pages, marketing websites, and product or startup one-pagers.

• Advanced skills in Figma for creating scalable, responsive web layouts, auto-layout components, and design systems.

• Proficiency in designing conversion-focused, pitch-oriented landing page layouts.

• Knowledge of developer handoff processes and preparation of digital assets for developers or no-code platforms like Webflow and Framer.

• Capability to maintain brand consistency across web pages, social materials, and pitch decks.

• A structured, user-centered, and conversion-focused design philosophy.

• Keen attention to clarity, white space, and current web layout trends.

• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver production-ready assets promptly.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher is required.

• CV must include a link to a portfolio with relevant web design samples.
