Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design and user experience for Hex’s website, documentation site, campaign interfaces, and future web platforms.

• Develop meticulously crafted digital experiences from initial concept to final delivery.

• Set standards for visual quality, design patterns, interaction principles, and uniformity across Hex’s web environment.

• Advance primary web interfaces and collaborate with the Marketing team on web initiatives.

• Manage design representation for significant product launches alongside Brand and Product Marketing.

• Transform intricate product features into clear and engaging visual narratives.

• Create animations, product motion graphics, micro-interactions, transitions, and moments of interactive storytelling.

• Define user experience, visual hierarchy, interaction, and narrative strategies across marketing platforms.

• Bring designs to life using HTML, CSS, and React/Next.js.

• Prototype and launch interactive experiences utilizing AI-assisted design and development tools.

• Work closely with engineering teams on technically challenging projects.

• Shape the processes, standards, critique practices, and creative culture within the Design team.

• Assist in establishing workflows across Brand, Product Marketing, Product Design, Content, and Engineering.

• Eventually recruit and guide a small web design team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in web, visual, UI, or digital product design.

• Outstanding hands-on skills in UX, typography, interaction, and visual systems.

• Proficient in product storytelling, especially for technical, B2B, developer, data, or product-driven companies.

• Strategic design and UX thinking that aligns creative choices with audience, narrative, product, and business objectives.

• Keen sense for motion and interaction design.

• Proficient in production-quality HTML, CSS, and React/Next.js.

• Eagerness and ability to engage with AI-assisted design and development workflows.

• Capable of working independently and managing tasks from concept to launch.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

• A portfolio is required.
