This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deploy, configure, and oversee pixels, tags, and scripts within Google Tag Manager.
• Develop and sustain data layers in collaboration with the Web Services team.
• Administer GTM container structures, triggers, and variables for various clients.
• Implement server-side tagging to enhance measurement precision.
• Link website interactions to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
• Set up standard and custom conversion events while maintaining GA4 event tracking.
• Collaborate with Paid Media and Web Services teams to ensure tracking accuracy prior to campaign launches.
• Conduct audits and troubleshoot broken tags, lost events, and data inconsistencies.
• Resolve discrepancies between ad platforms, GA4, and CRM systems.
• Perform regular tag health assessments across the client portfolio.
• Confirm events in platform Events Managers and GA4 DebugView.
• Administer cookie consent banners and configure consent modes.
• Ensure tracking implementations comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
• Keep abreast of platform and browser modifications affecting tracking reliability.
• Maintain tagging strategies, naming conventions, and quality assurance checklists.
• Convert business needs into effective functional tracking solutions.
• Document technical configurations for internal teams.
• 3+ years of practical experience in tracking or web analytics within a marketing or agency context.
• Intermediate proficiency in Google Tag Manager containers, triggers, variables, data layer implementation, and server-side tagging.
• Hands-on experience in planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across primary ad platforms.
• Familiarity with pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) configuration for Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Direct experience with GA4, including event configuration, key events, and DebugView.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS selectors, and basic JavaScript.
• Skilled in using GTM Preview mode and browser developer tools.
• Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and consent management platforms.
• Ability to articulate technical tracking concepts into understandable narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Experience in education marketing is particularly valued.
• Interest or familiarity with AI/LLM tools related to tag management, data validation, tracking troubleshooting, server-side tagging, conversion modeling, or technical documentation is a plus.
