This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Lead the adoption of AssetMark’s Private Wealth offerings and other Wealth Solutions capabilities within a specified territory.
• Collaborate with financial advisors to create tailored investment portfolios and wealth management strategies for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
• Engage with advisors through face-to-face meetings, virtual presentations, and participation in industry events.
• Advocate for the Private Wealth program and the investment and wealth solutions managed internally.
• Assist in portfolio construction and wealth strategy, emphasizing tax-aware investing and planning.
• Work alongside AssetMark sales teams to discover, cultivate, and progress opportunities.
• Establish new relationships with advisors through proactive external sales efforts.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with current Private Wealth and Wealth Solutions users.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory.
• Oversee and manage a pipeline of opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Represent AssetMark Wealth Solutions at advisor events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with Advanced Planning, Client Portfolio Managers, and Investment Strategy teams to provide integrated solutions.
• Gather and relay market feedback on advisor needs, competitive positioning, and product opportunities.
• Travel frequently within the designated territory.
• 5–7+ years of experience in external sales, wholesaling, or roles that involve direct interaction with advisors within asset or wealth management.
• Proven experience in selling investment solutions to financial advisors is essential.
• Prior experience working with independent financial advisors (RIA and/or broker-dealer channels) is preferred.
• Familiarity with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth client segments is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA, CFA, CFP, CAIA, or similar professional designation is preferred.
• Required to have FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or the ability to obtain them).
• Strong knowledge of investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and private market strategies.
• Capability to convey complex investment and wealth concepts clearly and practically.
• Experience in engaging with financial advisors and addressing high-net-worth client needs.
• Strong relationship management and business development abilities.
• Proficiency in managing a territory and effectively prioritizing activities.
• Demonstrated presentation skills in both small and large group environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across various internal teams and functions.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Must reside within the designated territory: Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington, or Oregon.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
