Water/Wastewater Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and plan water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, lift stations, and associated infrastructure.

• Conduct hydraulic simulations and perform process calculations.

• Create engineering reports and submit permit applications.

• Assist in permitting and ensure compliance with regulations across state and federal agencies.

• Act as a representative for Atwell in client and regulatory meetings.

• Carry out site assessments for existing facilities.

• Generate design solutions for both new and upgraded treatment infrastructure.

• Operate independently in a remote setting while overseeing multiple project deadlines.

• Travel quarterly as necessary for projects, with most trips lasting between 1 to 3 days.

• Collaborate directly with operators, contractors, and clients on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an EAC/ABET Accredited University.

• PE Licensure is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or similar software is essential.

• Comfortable working on-site and directly engaging with operators, contractors, and clients during project travel.
