Water Workforce Education Partner – K-12 & Higher Ed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative for a school district, community college, university, or educational nonprofit focused on water-career programming.

• Collaboratively design educational activities such as modules, camps, career days, dual credit opportunities, or laboratory experiences.

• Identify target student populations and determine the geographical areas for delivery.

• Assist in the documentation of partnerships for joint educational and workforce proposals when mutually agreed upon.

• Provide guidance on appropriate learning outcomes and measurement techniques suitable for educational environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a role within a K–12 Local Education Agency (LEA), community college, university, or educational nonprofit organization.

• Proven experience in delivering STEM/CTE career education, water and environmental education, or work-based learning programs.

• Capability to discuss pathways for institutional partnerships.

• Openness to engage as a collaborator within a defined timeframe.

• Authorization to work with a nonprofit research organization based in the U.S.

• Established advisory relationships within the water and wastewater industry.

• Existing dual-enrollment or pre-apprenticeship pathways in operation.

• Reach to rural, tribal, or underserved student populations.
