This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary compensation partner and trusted advisor for designated business units.

• Offer guidance to management and HR regarding compensation philosophy, programs, policies, practices, and systems.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders on workforce-related matters.

• Assess and approve salary adjustments utilizing compensation fundamentals and internal review frameworks.

• Ensure alignment with Leidos job architecture for current employees and new recruits.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, legal statutes, and internal controls.

• Review and authorize bonus and incentive proposals.

• Analyze compensation practices, internal and external equity, pay trends, workforce data, and market insights.

• Utilize AI-enabled tools and technologies to enhance analysis, quality, and efficiency.

• Perform FLSA classification and exemption analyses, providing guidance on wage-and-hour compliance.

• Create presentations and materials that communicate compensation procedures, recommendations, and analyses to leadership and HR stakeholders.

• Implement and manage compensation and incentive policies, procedures, programs, and project initiatives.

• Offer daily operational support and consultative compensation guidance.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is mandatory.

• Over 8 years of experience in Compensation or a related field.

• Comprehensive understanding of compensation philosophies and practices.

• In-depth knowledge of FLSA compliance, rules, and their application.

• Familiarity with HR systems, market survey submissions, and analyses.

• Knowledge of Workday HCM is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize key information.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in office software, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capacity to adapt and work effectively across various situations, individuals, or groups.

• Experience collaborating with business leaders and HR stakeholders in a consultative role is advantageous.

• Ability to manage difficult conversations with tact, confidence, and sound judgment.

• A strong team player who collaborates effectively across HR, Compensation, Total Rewards, and business stakeholders.

• Industry experience is a plus.
