This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute to the expansion of the wastewater practice through specialized disinfection knowledge, technical leadership, and business development efforts.
• Act as a crucial resource for clients navigating emerging challenges in disinfection and permitting.
• Oversee project delivery teams across the nation to meet project objectives.
• Ensure the uniform application of quality standards, guidelines, and best practices throughout the lifecycle of projects.
• Propel technical delivery and quality management while minimizing risks.
• Cultivate and sustain national client relationships while developing customized technical solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market advancements, and emerging technologies.
• Foster collaboration among project delivery, client services, and technical services teams.
• Assist the Practice leader with SMS governance and systems designed for talent development.
• Conduct technical training and mentor less experienced professionals.
• Recruit and nurture talent associated with the technical field.
• Present at client meetings, conferences, and industry association events.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed based on evolving requirements.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the assigned specialty.
• Over 10 years of experience in municipal wastewater treatment, emphasizing disinfection and/or filtration technologies.
• Expert knowledge in advanced disinfection research, pilot studies, laboratory techniques, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with EPA-related Enterococci sampling and analytical methods.
• Insight into historical versus current sampling practices and their effects on permit compliance.
• Hands-on experience with peracetic acid (PAA) and performic acid applications.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate client relationships, identify opportunities, and promote technical consulting or engineering services.
• Experience supporting major municipal utility clients.
• Capability to lead and connect multidisciplinary technical teams while facilitating the sharing of organizational knowledge.
• A degree in Engineering, Science, Geology, or a related field with a focus pertinent to the technical role required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain licensure is preferred.
• Typically certified in the SMS Framework and advancing through SMS competencies.
