Technical Coordinator – Environmental Licensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Prepare and organize activities based on the consolidated baseline established with the participating party.

• Define methodological procedures and assemble technical analyst teams.

• Oversee the technical execution of the project by defining and integrating team methodologies in line with the established plan.

• Identify the need to augment teams with additional specialists.

• Review methodologies and indicators as required.

• Coordinate with process coordinators and their respective teams.

• Review and technically validate reports.

• Facilitate internal technical meetings and, when necessary, meetings with the focal points of relevant environmental licensing authorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biology, Geography, Geology, or a related environmental discipline.

• Advanced understanding of environmental licensing processes and stages, along with applicable environmental legislation.

• Experience in defining and reviewing methodologies, indicators, targets, and technical deliverables.

• Proven experience in reviewing, validating, and consolidating environmental reports and studies.

• Familiarity with environmental programs, plans, and conditions.

• Experience in liaising with environmental and licensing authorities, such as CETESB, IBAMA, and state or municipal agencies, depending on the project.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

• Capability to conduct technical meetings with clients, teams, and public authorities.

• 5–7 years of experience in Environmental Licensing.
