This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and allocation of resources for projects.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering, and executive leadership to define project scope and objectives.
• Oversee the implementation of warehouse automation and integrated material handling systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and execute mitigation strategies.
• Maintain transparent communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and activities related to project closeout.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget constraints.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the implementation process.
• Foster continuous improvement and promote the adoption of project management best practices across the organization.
• Supervise projects from inception to completion while surpassing customer expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Over 5 years of project management experience in automation, material handling, warehouse systems, robotics, AMRs/AGVs, conveyor systems, or similar industrial settings.
• Experience in managing technical design and system implementation projects.
• Capability to interpret architectural drawings, CAD layouts, and system designs.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse automation and material handling technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and a personal vehicle for business travel.
• Approximately 50% travel required: 25% local/regional and 25% national.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Preferred experience includes warehouse automation systems, conveyor systems, robotics, AGVs, AMRs, and operations in distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain.
