Waking Night Support Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Stay alert and accessible throughout the night to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of the individual being supported.

• Offer reassurance and emotional assistance during nighttime hours.

• Observe the client’s well-being and respond to any changes.

• Conduct regular welfare checks as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of care.

• React appropriately to emergencies or concerns.

• Provide support to elderly clients or those with learning disabilities.

• Encourage dignity, independence, choice, and person-centered care.

• Work with children, young individuals, or vulnerable adults while upholding safeguarding duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a care setting is essential.

• Background in care or support work.

• Must be compassionate, dependable, and professional.

• Confident in working independently throughout the night.

• Must remain calm and respond appropriately to unforeseen situations.

• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain accurate records.

• Availability to work between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM on weekdays and/or weekends.

• Openness to complete all necessary training and recruitment checks.

• Capable of traveling to client locations within Northamptonshire.

• Satisfactory references are mandatory.

• An enhanced DBS check is required.

• Right-to-work verification is necessary.

• Completion of the safer recruitment process is required.

• Must not be barred from engaging in Regulated Activity.

• Compliance with Codes of Conduct, ethical standards, safeguarding policies, and expected behaviors is essential.
