VP, VBC Network Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Recruit and cultivate high-performing networks of MSK specialists and primary care providers in markets with existing or planned value-based care (VBC) programs.

• Act as an ambassador for HOPCo's clinically integrated networks with providers and payors.

• Direct the national go-to-market strategy and ongoing recruitment efforts for MSK VBC programs.

• Implement recruitment strategies for primary care and MSK providers to enhance engagement with HOPCo's value-based care initiatives and integrated care processes.

• Facilitate provider onboarding transitions with VBC functional leads.

• Create uniform operational processes, marketing materials, and messaging across different regions.

• Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop and refine outreach materials for providers.

• Work with Analytics teams on standardized data and reports for network discussions.

• Manage presentation materials for Executive Leadership and Board meetings.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational policies alongside Legal, VBC CMO, Medical Directors, and Clinical Operations.

• Encourage accountability and promote continuous improvement.

• Articulate engagement and performance-improvement strategies and processes to providers.

• Coordinate national network development and management in collaboration with VBC leadership.

• Provide feedback on the network to enhance incentive programs and reporting mechanisms.

• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and translate insights into operational actions.

• Assist with payer, employer, and other client-facing interactions using expertise in VBC and network recruitment.

• Communicate strategies for network development, enrollment, performance, and improvement initiatives to executives and clients.

• Set provider network targets within six months of program launch.

• Ensure adequate market-level network enrollment within three months of program launch.

• Track provider engagement and feedback to ensure that recruited providers actively support HOPCo programs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Master of Health Administration (MHA) preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of direct experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in healthcare consulting, network development, provider engagement, and operations of value-based care programs.

• Proven experience in engaging provider groups within value-based networks and implementing performance enhancement strategies.

• Extensive understanding of value-based care programs, network development, and processes within healthcare organizations.

• Knowledge of VBC reimbursement models, including population health, risk-based models, shared savings, episodes of care, and capitation.

• Familiarity with quality, financial, and operational metrics that contribute to program success.

• Insight into program operations and initiatives for performance and quality improvement.

• Understanding of provider network structures and hierarchies.

• Strong executive leadership skills with the ability to influence physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.

• Outstanding communication skills with senior executives, clinicians, payors, and health system partners.

• High emotional intelligence with the capacity to foster alignment among diverse stakeholder groups.

• Proficiency in using computer applications to generate reports.

• Experience with CRM tools to monitor network recruitment activities and results.

• Skills in evaluating, analyzing, and presenting data to providers.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and implement best-practice initiatives.

• Capacity to conceive innovative network recruitment and engagement strategies and secure necessary resources.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with providers, healthcare systems/administrators, health insurers, management, and staff.

• Proficient in synthesizing data and executing solutions to enhance value-based care network development and program performance.

• Capability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to various levels of staff.
