Vice President – Client Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage daily client relationships in subservicing, including both client and internal requests from Freedom.

• Deliver monthly performance reports on subservicing portfolios to Executive Leadership.

• Handle ongoing client deliverables and implement necessary changes to meet client needs.

• Review subservicing contracts, amendments, and fee schedules in collaboration with Freedom Legal.

• Participate in client meetings to foster and maintain strong client relationships.

• Manage reporting for the department and executives concerning subservicing activities.

• Proactively oversee reporting and client deliverables to ensure a favorable client experience.

• Address client billing issues and collaborate with Freedom teams to rectify any process gaps.

• Supervise client investor relationships, ensuring Freedom teams have access to client Seller/Servicer IDs and custodial accounts.

• Manage remote staff to optimize efficiency and performance.

• Oversee the portfolios of outsourced vendors for Freedom, including auditing, compliance, and ongoing oversight reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.

• Direct the resolution of escalated client requests and potential compliance-related issues.

• Ensure the delivery of client responses along with supporting documentation as necessary.

• Guarantee that Freedom's servicing adheres to relevant laws, guidelines, and contractual obligations.

• Undertake special projects or strategic initiatives as assigned.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Maintain reliable and punctual attendance.

• Conduct interviews, hire, train, assign tasks, direct, and evaluate staff; reward and discipline employees as needed; address complaints and resolve issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline is preferred.

• At least fifteen (15) years of experience in mortgage loan servicing, focusing on all aspects of mortgage servicing operations, including Investor Reporting and Compliance.

• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage servicing across all loan types.

• Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, and GSE mortgage servicing standards.

• Proficient in mortgage loan servicing systems, particularly Loan Serv.

• Familiarity with the Sagent (Loan Serv) system is preferred.

• Experience in servicing with a focus on Investor Reporting / Accounting is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.

• Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment and manage time and priorities effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced knowledge of Excel.

• Capability to present information to all levels of staff.

• Skill in writing, reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical, financial, legal, policy, and procedural documents.

• Ability to perform basic financial calculations and assessments.

• Competence in reading, editing, and critiquing client contracts.

• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, accounting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, email, and internet software.

• Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Capability to meet critical departmental and federal deadlines accurately and efficiently.

• Skill in building relationships with internal and external clients and vendors.

• Strong work ethic and business integrity.

• No certificates, licenses, or registrations are required.

• MBA certification such as CMB, AMP, or CMS is preferred.

• Effective communication skills for interacting clearly and professionally with internal and external business lines.

• Ability to present information effectively in professional documents and instructions.

• Competence in managing remote employees.
