This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, implement, and consistently assess a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, workforce strategy, core values, growth priorities, and competitive landscape.
• Design and oversee total rewards objectives and programs that support compensation and benefits initiatives, as well as talent attraction, engagement, and retention efforts.
• Analyze internal and external total rewards data; produce dashboards, reports, forecasts, and KPIs; identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and opportunities; and convert findings into executive recommendations.
• Develop and uphold an enterprise compensation philosophy and governance framework that encompasses market positioning, internal equity, decision rights, approvals, documentation, and monitoring.
• Manage compensation programs, including base pay, geographic and job-family structures, incentives, bonuses, and variable pay, ensuring competitiveness, equity, sustainability, and compliance.
• Track market trends, industry benchmarks, and compensation practices.
• Utilize data and analytics to set baselines and targets, monitor utilization and outcomes, assess ROI, and propose enhancements.
• Provide counsel to executive leadership and collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations, Payroll, HR leaders, and business partners.
• Oversee the total rewards operating budget, delivering multi-year cost modeling, forecasting, and recommendations.
• Lead the strategy, design, financial management, communication, and governance of employee benefits; manage renewals and Open Enrollment; and supervise broker, consultant, carrier, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee retirement and deferred compensation plan governance, including regulatory filings, audits, nondiscrimination testing, fiduciary processes, vendor performance, and employee education.
• Direct total rewards due diligence, cost analysis, program comparison, and integration planning for acquisitions, new programs, market expansions, and growth initiatives.
• Enhance operational efficiency, controls, service standards, and continuous improvements across benefits, compensation, leave interfaces, retirement, payroll coordination, employee transactions, UKG processes, and vendor services.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and vendors to optimize UKG configurations, interfaces, data quality, security, reporting, and automation.
• Establish and oversee controls, audit processes, compliance calendars, corrective-action plans, and reporting; escalate significant risks and recommendations.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing Total Rewards team by setting priorities, service expectations, performance goals, succession plans, and development opportunities.
• Communicate and advocate for Pyramid Healthcare’s mission and CORE Values.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in total rewards, with substantial responsibility for compensation strategy, benefits and retirement plan design, financial analysis, HR systems, vendor governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Previous vendor management experience is essential.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise total rewards strategies, compensation philosophies, program governance, and measurable cost, employee experience, or workforce outcomes.
• Professional certification such as Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Benefits Professional, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
• Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all company information.
