VP, Talent – Org Effectiveness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the key functional areas that influence the employee lifecycle, including strategic business partnerships, talent development, leadership effectiveness, workplace dynamics, and organizational culture.

• Define the vision, operational framework, and long-term strategy for Talent & Organizational Effectiveness.

• Lead and nurture functional leaders in the areas of People Business Partnership, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement & Belonging.

• Create systematic links between talent, development opportunities, mobility, and employee insights.

• Develop structured methodologies for program design, execution, adoption, and assessment.

• Incorporate AI into talent and organizational workflows, which includes talent reviews, skills evaluation, development planning, internal mobility, and employee feedback mechanisms.

• Position People Business Partners as trusted advisors through organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and change management.

• Manage performance evaluations, talent reviews, succession planning, and capability assessments.

• Define and scale strategies for learning, manager effectiveness, coaching, mentoring, and employee development.

• Establish career pathways and frameworks for internal mobility.

• Promote employee feedback, engagement, belonging, inclusive leadership, and a strong organizational culture.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, Finance, Facilities, and business leaders.

• Develop scalable operational practices, utilize people analytics, assess program effectiveness, prioritize investments, and achieve business results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in roles related to People, talent, or organizational effectiveness.

• At least 5 years of experience leading multiple relevant functions and mentoring senior functional leaders.

• Proven experience in establishing or significantly transforming an integrated talent and organizational effectiveness practice.

• Familiarity with applying AI to talent and organizational practices, from experimentation to practical implementation.

• Extensive leadership experience across various domains including People Business Partnership, Talent Management, Learning & Development, leadership development, and employee engagement.

• Background in technology, digital consumer markets, subscription services, media, entertainment, or similarly fast-paced industries.

• Strong business and financial acumen.

• Capability to advise and constructively challenge senior executives.

• Proficiency in transitioning from strategy to execution, leading through uncertainty, and delivering practical, scalable, and widely adopted programs.

• Ability to analyze people analytics and interpret employee feedback effectively.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.
