This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Dedicate substantial time in the field engaging directly with suppliers, TSDs, and channel partners to cultivate and enhance strategic relationships.
• Act as the company's representative at industry conferences, partner events, and high-level supplier meetings.
• Establish senior-level connections with supplier executives to facilitate strategic investments, priority access, and advantageous terms.
• Identify and pursue new go-to-market opportunities with suppliers, including co-marketing initiatives, joint solutions, and market entry strategies.
• Develop and oversee the company's comprehensive supplier strategy, focusing on portfolio expansion and sourcing new suppliers/TSDs in line with growth objectives.
• Recognize white-space opportunities for new supplier categories or emerging technology partnerships.
• Define the vision and roadmap for supplier segmentation, tiering, and investment prioritization.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging supplier capabilities to guide long-term portfolio strategy.
• Provide executive leadership with insights into supplier markets, competitive intelligence, and strategic recommendations.
• Monitor the strategic health of the supplier portfolio, including growth, market coverage, and competitive positioning.
• Lead high-stakes contract negotiations and strategic partnership agreements with key suppliers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and product leadership to ensure alignment of supplier strategy with company growth and revenue targets.
• Advocate for innovation initiatives with suppliers to launch new joint solutions in the market.
• Transition newly formed supplier relationships and go-to-market initiatives to the Operations Director's team for operational execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in Business Administration.
• Extensive knowledge of the telecommunications/technology industry, with a preference for 10+ years of experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of indirect channel dynamics, supplier ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies.
• Strong grasp of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technology partnerships.
• Expertise in high-value contract negotiation and strategic partnership structuring.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and executive presence with senior supplier stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and deal-structuring capabilities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to convert market insights into actionable go-to-market plans.
• Excellent presentation and executive communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently and engage in-person in the field.
• Ability to identify and leverage new market and go-to-market opportunities.
• Skilled in building trust and influencing at the executive level, both internally and externally.
• Capacity to operate independently in the field while aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
• Ability to drive long-term strategy with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and growth expectations.
• Proficient in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally and effectively utilizing internal teams (e.g., BDRs, Customer Success, Marketing) as force multipliers—without over-relying on them for pipeline generation.
• Resilience in navigating rejection, lengthy sales cycles, and complex deal environments.
