This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee a designated sales territory along with various levels of the Sales team.
• Drive net revenue growth from both new and existing clients.
• Ensure that team members and direct reports achieve their targets.
• Take responsibility for revenue retention and growth across assigned territories, accounts, and sales-team accounts.
• Identify potential prospects and client opportunities through desk research and market engagement.
• Execute email, social, and face-to-face outreach to raise awareness, generate interest, and arrange meetings.
• Conduct exploratory and follow-up meetings to assess client needs and solution alignment.
• Present proposals and secure signed agreements.
• Evaluate and allocate leads and opportunities to team members.
• Mentor team members on new business practices.
• Develop and implement account and market strategies, reviewing them regularly.
• Assess opportunities and accounts monthly in relation to sales and revenue targets.
• Monitor and maintain sales KPIs, activity metrics, workloads, productivity levels, goals, weekly reviews, and reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and strategic elements of key accounts.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships while fostering a client-centric culture.
• Promote the use of CRM, assist with training, and ensure account data remains accurate and up-to-date.
• Act as the primary contact for onboarding new hires to support team members.
• Meet team financial objectives and deliver at least on-target revenue each quarter.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams and provide management reporting as required.
• 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles.
• A minimum of 5 years in sales or business development.
• Demonstrated success in business development within pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing, advertising, and research.
• Proven experience managing a sales team or effectively coaching and mentoring sales professionals for enhanced performance.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, digital media, advertising strategy, data, and research.
• Strong network and experience in selling to pharmaceutical and medical device marketers and their marketing partners.
• Experience in selling syndicated or custom research solutions.
• Confidence in engaging with senior-level decision-makers in marketing and strategy.
• Proven success in managing lengthy sales cycles.
• A true hunter mentality with the ability to forge new relationships and close deals.
• Capacity to independently manage personal pipeline and activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to precise pipeline tracking and reporting via HubSpot.
• Willingness to travel, participate in industry events, and meet clients in person.
• Ideally based in the NY/NJ/Philly area; other locations will be considered.
