VP, Segment CIO, Pharmacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic and operational guidance as a key member of the Pharmacy executive leadership team.

• Supervise the IT Department and evaluate business requirements.

• Enhance or establish processes to enable effective solution delivery and support.

• Provide recommendations regarding acquisitions and divestitures.

• Advise the executive team on how Information Technology can further the business.

• Ensure that Pharmacy Technology remains resilient, secure, and robust throughout the enterprise.

• Manage essential relationships with business and IT vendors.

• Engage with external partners, clients, and customers.

• Lead, develop, and oversee all IT requirements for Humana Pharmacy P&L and its four sub-organizations.

• Provide executive leadership responsibilities for DomaniRx.

• Establish and execute departmental goals in collaboration with Executive IT staff.

• Oversee large-scale transformation initiatives involving people, processes, and technology.

• Keep track of emerging technologies that can enhance business objectives and boost company profits.

• Propel pharmacy business results through an omni-channel eCommerce perspective.

• Develop and implement IT policies, protocols, and standards.

• Foster direction and promote talent development for Pharmacy IT personnel.

• Support an inclusive work environment within business and IT.

• Create the Pharmacy IT department budget in cooperation with Pharmacy business leaders and senior IT executives.

• Ensure that Pharmacy IT strategies and processes align with overarching business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• A minimum of 10 years of technical experience.

• At least 8 years of management experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of Information Technology solutions, including retail technologies, platforms, applications, and capabilities in Pharma and Healthcare.

• A strong desire to contribute to an organization dedicated to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• Master's Degree (preferred).

• At least 5 years of IT Management experience (preferred).

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Work from a dedicated area free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.
