Pharmacy Technician II – Clinical Pharmacy Care Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze and input moderately complex prescriptions.

• Manage prior authorization requests from medical offices and ensure adherence to Medicare standards.

• Notify relevant parties of prior authorization decisions.

• Address adjudication issues effectively.

• Resolve grievances and appeals matters.

• Answer questions from physicians, the sales team, and members concerning formulary and prescription benefits.

• Educate members on prescriptions, medication resources, assistance programs, and adherence to medication.

• Aid members in scheduling preventive tests and screenings.

• Conduct outreach to members or providers to bridge care gaps and enhance outcomes.

• Confirm member details and record data for pharmacists.

• Serve Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial member populations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Active professional license, as mandated by state law.

• State Pharmacy Technician Certification or National Certification in accordance with applicable state requirements.

• Capability to function as a Pharmacy Technician within the designated scope of practice in a state or territory of the United States.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of pharmacy experience.

• Alternatively, any combination of education and experience that provides a comparable background.

• Call center experience is preferred.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Proficient facilitation skills.

• Solid analytical skills.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 12:00pm to 8:30pm EST.

• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations may be required for specific patient/member-facing roles unless a valid exemption is provided.
