
VP, Relationship Manager – Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Formulate and implement business development strategies to enhance Verdant's footprint in the industrial equipment sector.
• Build, nurture, and oversee relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and strategic referral partners.
• Initiate new vendor finance programs and promote production growth within the designated vertical.
• Design financing solutions, including leases, loans, and various commercial finance products.
• Negotiate program terms, pricing models, and partnership agreements with Credit and Capital Markets.
• Act as the primary relationship manager for essential vendor accounts and strategic alliances.
• Identify opportunities to boost market share, transaction volume, and portfolio profitability.
• Sustain an active sales pipeline and deliver consistent forecasting and production reporting.
• Collaborate with Credit, Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Servicing teams to guarantee efficient transaction execution and outstanding client service.
• Monitor portfolio performance, industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging risks in the industrial sector.
• Represent Verdant at industry conferences, trade associations, and customer events.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, product development, and ongoing process improvement efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; relevant industry experience may be considered.
• Over 7 years of experience in equipment finance, vendor finance, commercial lending, leasing, or specialty finance.
• Proven track record of originating and managing substantial vendor relationships and financing programs.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment markets and related financing structures.
• Demonstrated capability to source, negotiate, and finalize complex commercial finance transactions.
• Excellent financial analysis, credit assessment, and transaction structuring abilities.
• Outstanding business development, sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating across a matrixed organization.
• Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and pipeline management tools.
• Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana testing.
