This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Oversee commercial operations in regions including outer Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Vermont.
• Identify and nurture key customer relationships to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
• Foster customer relationships and deliver comprehensive customer support.
• Conduct commercial activities through direct customer interactions, including visits, presentations, phone calls, and emails.
• Collaborate with managers and directors to formulate and implement territory sales strategies.
• Enhance and grow relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
• Grasp and convey technical information effectively to customers.
• Work in conjunction with Marketing, Product Development, Technical Support, and other internal teams.
• Attend tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events as needed.
• Analyze customer profiles to devise engagement strategies.
• Report on territory sales achievements and opportunities across internal departments.
• Undertake additional projects or responsibilities as necessary.
• Represent ACROBiosystems, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of recombinant proteins and essential reagents/assays for drug development and clinical applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
• A Bachelor’s degree necessitates 4+ years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences sector; a Master’s degree requires 2+ years.
• At least 1 year of sales or customer-facing experience within the life sciences industry.
• Relevant experience should ideally involve the development or manufacturing of cell and gene therapies or antibody/protein therapeutics.
• Capability to comprehend and implement scientific concepts within a sales context.
• Strong analytical skills to thoughtfully consider market and customer dynamics while creating customer engagement strategies.
• Proficient in articulating and promoting the technical facets of ACROBiosystems’ product range.
• Familiarity with ELISA, SPR, BLI, FACS, or immune cell culture techniques.
• Experience in the antibody or cell and gene therapy sectors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the territory 40–50% of the time.
• Commission in addition to base salary.
