VP, Regional Account Executive – 401K Sales

📋 Description

• Collaborate with advisors, third-party administrators, and business owners to meet their financial wellness and retirement requirements.

• Act as the primary point of contact for advisors, third-party administrators, and small business decision-makers within the greater Chicago area.

• Work in conjunction with the assigned Retirement Director to provide thought leadership, enhance brand recognition, and strengthen client loyalty.

• Employ a consultative sales approach to uncover customer needs and foster relationships.

• Execute sales processes through phone and virtual meetings.

• Offer subject matter expertise on retirement benefits, integrated administration, and investment alternatives.

• Develop, target, and implement a business plan for a designated territory.

• Build and manage a business pipeline in collaboration with internal partners.

• Apply segmentation and client coverage models to enhance relationships with Retirement Leaders.

• Deliver marketing campaigns and insights for business development to boost brand awareness and drive demand.

• Promote Fidelity’s 401(k) Recordkeeping Platform and Multi-Product Solutions through financial advisors, third-party administrators, and directly with plan sponsors.

• Cultivate profitable, long-term relationships.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience and success in consulting, sales, or the financial services sector.

• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required; candidates will be allowed study time to obtain these within two months of hiring.

• Strong sales skills, including rapport building, active listening, qualification questioning, objection handling, presentation skills, strategic prospecting, and territory management.

• A passion for problem-solving and complex planning.

• Familiarity with the Financial Services, Employee Benefits, or Human Resources industries.

• Skills in territory, project, and time management.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Commitment to ongoing personal development.

• Must not require immigration sponsorship.
