This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for UMA, SMA, and multi-sleeve portfolio construction, overlay trading, and rebalancing functionalities across the VAST platform.
• Convert Portfolio Management operational realities into prioritized product specifications.
• Serve as the internal expert on UMA structures and household-level asset location rebalancing.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop scalable solutions for wirehouse, broker-dealer, asset manager, and overlay manager workflows.
• Collect requirements from Portfolio Managers, overlay managers, and asset manager partners, and validate solutions both before and after implementation.
• Sustain a strong partnership with Vestmark Advisory Solutions leadership and Portfolio Management.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
• Represent Vestmark's UMA and portfolio management capabilities during client and prospect discussions, RFPs, and executive business reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Management, and Client Delivery to facilitate client adoption and expand the platform.
• Keep abreast of industry trends in managed accounts, direct indexing, tax management, and multi-manager portfolio construction.
• Contribute to the advancement and nurturing of Vestmark's core values.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or investment technology within the wealth management or asset management sectors.
• Profound understanding of managed account concepts, including sleeves, overlay management, trading discretion, rebalancing engines, tax transition, tax-loss harvesting, and composite performance attribution.
• Ability to translate intricate investment operations concepts into product specifications and user experiences.
• Experience in delivering platform capabilities to wealth management or broker-dealer/RIA/TAMP audiences.
• Proven track record of collaborating with engineering and design teams to launch complex, scalable financial technology solutions.
• Capability to work cross-functionally with service, marketing, sales, and account management teams.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• CFA, CIMA, or similar investment credentials are a plus.
• Familiarity with optimization and rebalancing tools such as Northfield and BARRA/Axioma.
• Experience in owning products that integrate portfolio optimization engines into automated, rules-based trading and rebalancing workflows.
• Background in a wirehouse, broker-dealer, RIA aggregator, TAMP, or asset manager providing tax-managed investment solutions.
