Product Owner – OmniAnalyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers to refine and prioritize the analytics platform backlog.

• Develop ready-to-implement stories and requirements, encompassing user stories, acceptance criteria, data specifications, metric definitions, and non-functional criteria.

• Take on Product Manager responsibilities when necessary.

• Work together with engineering, data engineering, and analytics teams to ensure alignment of stories with business outcomes.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing and validate data outputs, reports, and AI-generated insights.

• Monitor and report on delivery progress, platform utilization, user engagement, risks, dependencies, and performance insights.

• Convert AI/ML and generative AI capabilities into actionable backlog items with the relevant acceptance criteria.

• Collect user feedback and transform insights into product enhancements.

• Collaborate with data governance, privacy, and security teams regarding access controls, regulatory obligations, and responsible AI standards.

• Identify risks, capacity issues, and propose reallocation strategies.

• Facilitate sprint ceremonies, product demonstrations, walkthroughs, and communication with stakeholders.

• Act as a subject matter expert for platform workflows, data sources, and functionalities.

• Oversee the performance, accuracy, drift, and user feedback of deployed AI features.

• Propose ideas inspired by emerging trends in AI, generative AI, and modern analytics.

• Undertake additional tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.

• A combination of education, professional certifications, and relevant work experience will be taken into account.

• A minimum of five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience is required.

• Proven experience in business analysis, requirements definition, or supporting product delivery is necessary.

• Experience in delivering product capabilities for data analytics, business intelligence (BI), or other enterprise software platforms is required.

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, generative AI, or data-driven product initiatives is preferred.

• Background in claims, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated operational settings is preferred.

• Experience working within agile or hybrid delivery teams is preferred.

• Strong skills in product and requirements documentation.

• Ability to convert business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Working knowledge of data analytics concepts, including data models, KPIs and metric definitions, dashboards, and self-service analytics.

• Understanding of the evaluation of AI-powered features, including accuracy, reliability, and explainability of outputs.

• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and backlog management.

• Capability to assess scope, dependencies, and delivery complexity.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in tracking delivery metrics and assisting with OKR reporting.

• Ability to understand and convey budget implications and delivery trade-offs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical and AI concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

• A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI to enhance data interaction.
