This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.
β’ Create a card that individuals place at the front of their wallets and recommend spontaneously.
β’ Guide the card development from inception to launch, determining the initial features and overseeing program setup and compliance approval.
β’ Take charge of the application experience, including wait times and approval notifications, while underwriting manages the model.
β’ Manage how customers perceive their credit line, encompassing both increases and decreases.
β’ Oversee the customer offering, which includes rewards, redemption processes, and pricing, while also grasping the economic factors that support it.
β’ Establish high standards for content, disclosures, latency, and empty states.
β’ Promote the use of AI where it significantly enhances the user experience.
β’ Manage balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and the reconciliation of statements.
β’ Drive growth in acquisition, activation, retention, and compounding growth loops.
β’ Coordinate efforts across engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, legal, marketing, support, and partners to create a unified card strategy.
β’ Over 6 years of experience in creating consumer products, including at least one where financial transactions occurred and mistakes were costly.
β’ Proven track record of launching consumer products that users actively choose to engage with.
β’ Proficient in credit, or the ability to quickly learn: approval rates, line assignments, vintage curves, charge-offs, interchange, and rewards liabilities.
β’ A very high standard for quality and a focus on customer needs, backed by data and a commitment to experimentation.
β’ Experience in delivering AI-driven products to real consumers.
β’ Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, and partner teams.
β’ Strong decision-making abilities in a regulated context.
β’ Preferred: experience in card issuing, lending, or payments, along with knowledge of Reg Z and the CARD Act.
