This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Product and Design team in the development of innovative robotic sidewalk logistics solutions.
• Elevate standards, pinpoint high-impact opportunities and major initiatives, and clarify product vision and reasoning.
• Collaborate with leaders from Engineering, Operations, Data, Business Development, Program Management, Safety, Policy, and other departments.
• Align priorities, navigate trade-offs, and translate company strategy into synchronized execution.
• Enhance and advance the product management and design teams.
• Promote intellectual curiosity, measurable experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Set product and design quality benchmarks and refine processes related to business opportunities, requirements, validation, communication, and maintenance.
• Act as a member of the leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategy and execution.
• Define roles, expectations, decision-making rights, and accountability.
• Deliver value to customers and the public while expanding the sidewalk delivery sector.
• Convert corporate strategy and customer requirements into product priorities and investment choices.
• Analyze customer, user, competitor, and market dynamics to guide product direction and design principles.
• Advocate for data-driven product decisions using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Balance immediate needs with scalable, long-term product capabilities.
• Maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes initiatives, milestones, and outcomes.
• Direct the Design function and create a unified design vision.
• Promote user-centered design by integrating customer and end-user insights.
• Develop scalable design practices, systems, and standards.
• Simplify complex technical functionalities into effective user experiences.
• Incorporate design early as a strategic product capability.
• Deliver design focused on public safety, from Industrial Design to Operational Tools.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, design, or similar technology leadership roles.
• More than 5 years of experience in leading and nurturing product teams, including managing senior product leaders and/or multidisciplinary organizations.
• Proven history of owning product strategy and roadmaps for intricate technology products from inception through commercialization and scaling.
• Demonstrated ability to convert company strategy, customer demands, and technical capabilities into clear product priorities and measurable business results.
• Experience in articulating product, design, and technical strategies to senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills in people management, including recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
• Preferred: background in robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, mobility, logistics, or complex hardware and software systems.
• Preferred: experience with physical-world products that entail safety, reliability, hardware limitations, operational performance, and user experience.
• Preferred: experience in overseeing Product Management and Product Design teams.
• Preferred: experience in developing B2B or B2B2C products.
• Preferred: experience in integrating hardware, software, data, operational tools, and customer interactions.
• Preferred: experience in fleet operations, marketplaces, logistics, last-mile delivery, or high-volume operational settings.
• Preferred: experience in scaling product organizations during periods of rapid growth.
• Preferred: experience in commercializing emerging technologies.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, design, business, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
