This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to establish team roadmaps, resource requirements, and strategic priorities.
• Drive design input into key strategic discussions and the long-term vision for the product.
• Identify and prioritize projects that align with product and organizational OKRs.
• Create intuitive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing user experiences across digital platforms.
• Transform research findings and insights into user-focused design solutions.
• Present design outcomes in engaging ways that emphasize user impact.
• Guide, mentor, and nurture a team of product designers.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, design reviews, career development discussions, and skills enhancement sessions.
• Foster team engagement, growth, and operational excellence.
• Partner with UXR, product, and engineering teams to integrate research and testing into the design process.
• Organize design sprints, workshops, and collaborative activities.
• Attract and hire top-notch design talent.
• Promote the value of UX and best practices throughout the organization.
• Support scalable design processes that improve productivity and quality.
• Monitor and assess the impact of design through data analysis and user feedback.
• 6+ years of experience in product design, ideally within SaaS or EdTech sectors.
• 3+ years of experience in a design leadership position with direct reports.
• Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-level design solutions within Agile teams.
• Familiarity with product development methodologies (e.g., JTBD, Lean Canvas).
• Proficient in conducting and utilizing UX research and usability testing.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience in design leadership and team development.
• Strategic thinking and innovation capabilities.
• Knowledge of user-centered design and accessibility principles.
• Ability to collaborate across functions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Understanding of design systems and pattern libraries.
• Experience with Agile product development.
• Skills in design facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
