This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the organization-wide operating system that transforms strategy into coordinated execution.
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to establish priorities, advance decisions and commitments, and ensure alignment across various functions.
• Facilitate leadership meetings, company planning sessions, business reviews, and organize two to three company offsites each year.
• Convert strategy into actionable priorities, decisions, ownership, and milestones; monitor actions until completion.
• Link dependencies among functions and assist in making explicit investment trade-offs.
• Develop and implement intake and prioritization processes for company-wide and cross-functional initiatives.
• Define business cases, funding decisions, performance gates, and investment criteria in collaboration with Finance.
• Work alongside People/HR on organization design, headcount, contractor, and capability planning.
• Maintain insight into demand, capacity, cost, and resource trade-offs.
• Evaluate and enhance tools, data, processes, and operational infrastructure.
• Establish ownership and standards, enhance adoption and data quality, automate repetitive tasks, and phase out redundant tools and processes.
• Manage the company OKR process, scorecards, dashboards, definitions, data hygiene, and review cadence.
• Monitor priorities, dependencies, risks, decisions, and expected outcomes.
• Utilize operational and financial data to recognize patterns, question assumptions, and suggest actions.
• Lead critical cross-functional programs when dedicated ownership is essential.
• Over 10 years of experience in business operations, strategy and operations, or a chief of staff role.
• Proven partnership with executives at a high-growth technology organization.
• Demonstrated success in building company operating cadence, planning, OKRs, and systems for cross-functional execution.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
• Experience in assessing and enhancing business systems and tools across various functions.
• Familiarity with CRM, BI, planning, and collaboration platforms.
• Proven track record of cross-functional delivery across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Finance, and People/HR.
• Experience managing demand and capacity amidst competing priorities.
• Experience overseeing an operating budget and vendor portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Background in a venture-backed startup is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of security, identity, or SaaS is an advantage.
• An MBA is beneficial but not mandatory.
