This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Create analyses, insights, and recommendations for strategic planning, operational decisions, and performance enhancement within Individual Dental Operations.
• Track operational, customer, financial, and KPI data to pinpoint trends, risks, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Perform root cause analyses and quantify impacts when reliable data is accessible.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of operational reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical tools.
• Define reporting requirements, business outcomes, performance metrics, data necessities, and audience expectations in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design reporting solutions that enhance visibility into performance, risks, trends, and necessary actions.
• Identify and implement automated reporting, analytical, and workflow solutions using sanctioned enterprise tools.
• Assess automation opportunities and create solutions that minimize repetitive tasks while enhancing timeliness and consistency.
• Integrate documentation, testing, validation, exception handling, and business controls into automated solutions.
• Recognize and support responsible use cases for artificial intelligence and generative AI.
• Set expectations for human review and validation of AI-generated outputs.
• Develop, document, measure, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Create vendor performance reports and assist in vendor reviews, transitions, and corrective actions.
• Establish reporting controls and confirm data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability.
• Identify data-quality issues and control deficiencies and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Lead or assist in continuous improvement, workflow redesign, standardization, and operational modernization projects.
• Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, business transitions, operational planning, and enterprise projects.
• Create decision-support materials, business-case contributions, leadership updates, and progress reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Reporting, Technology, Finance, Vendor Management, Product, Compliance, and other teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in analytics, reporting, performance measurement, automation, and workflow improvement.
• Facilitate discussions on requirements and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analytics, operational reporting, performance management, or a related sector.
• Proficiency in developing and managing performance reports, dashboards, scorecards, key performance indicators, and operational analyses.
• Capability to analyze complex data, identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for reporting, analytics, process improvement, or automation solutions.
• Experience enhancing workflows, recurring reporting processes, or operational activities through redesign, standardization, or automation.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to evaluate data quality, challenge unsupported conclusions, and acknowledge analytical limitations.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and shifting priorities.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Capability to document analytical processes, business rules, reporting logic, assumptions, and controls.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar tools.
• Preferred: Experience in customer operations, contact center operations, healthcare operations, dental benefits, or another regulated service environment.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing artificial intelligence or generative AI tools.
• Preferred: Experience in vendor oversight, service-level reporting, or vendor performance management.
• Preferred: Knowledge of operational risk, regulatory requirements, business controls, data governance, privacy, or compliance.
• Preferred: Experience supporting business transitions, operating model implementation, stabilization, or transformation initiatives.
• Preferred: Experience creating executive-level dashboards or decision-support materials.
