VP of Engineering

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic vision and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing engineering organization.

• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.

• Advocate for AI-driven tools and automation throughout the SDLC.

• Create and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with the company's long-term objectives.

• Collaborate with product management, design, and operations teams.

• Foster and implement agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Optimize the allocation of personnel, infrastructure, and budget resources.

• Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent.

• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.

• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and security risks.

• Work with executives, clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in real estate technology.

• Strong technical foundation with expertise in software development methodologies, modern architectures, and cloud technologies.

• Experience in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.

• Ability to convert business objectives into actionable technology strategies.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

• Thorough understanding and practical experience with agile development methodologies.

• Proven experience with AI tools and automation, including AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline automation.

• Familiarity with concepts, processes, and technologies within the real estate industry is advantageous.

• Strong business acumen with the capability to balance technical considerations against business priorities.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty, make informed decisions, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in software development.

• At least 5 years in engineering leadership roles managing software teams.
