VP of Corporate Security, Risk and Resilience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Identify, evaluate, and address operational and systemic vulnerabilities throughout the organization.

• Oversee physical security measures, which include access control and force protection, as well as information security encompassing cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

• Lead the planning for disaster recovery and system contingencies.

• Create playbooks and guide teams during active threats, breaches, or emergency situations.

• Act as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) with oversight responsibilities for information systems security.

• Function as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) and manage investigations related to insider threats, internal security inquiries, infractions, and violations.

• Support team leads in the creation of security training programs and awareness initiatives.

• Assist team leads in revising, maintaining, or creating standard operating procedures, security-related policies, and enhancements to enterprise processes.

• Provide briefings to the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and other C-suite executives regarding current risk postures and strategies for threat mitigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical security field.

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in security, risk management, or operational resilience, typically at a senior director level or equivalent within government.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience conducting intricate security investigations, including those related to insider threats, criminal activity, cyber issues, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism.

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must possess an active Top-Secret security clearance.

• Comprehensive knowledge of CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001, and business continuity standards.

• Demonstrated capability to manage extensive global programs or teams and influence both technical and non-technical strategies.

• Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
