Senior Security AI Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive security risk assessments of AI use cases and systems from initial design to launch readiness.

• Evaluate end-to-end architectures for significant security risks, control deficiencies, data lineage and classification, as well as operational issues.

• Convert findings into actionable, risk-based recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to monitor resolution progress.

• Offer early consultation, education, and reusable security guidance.

• Collaborate with Responsible AI & Governance and security and technical teams to ensure consistent review processes.

• Utilize security tools and discovery insights to pinpoint emerging risks, engage stakeholders, and facilitate remediation efforts.

• Document assessments and findings within SIE GRC systems.

• Enhance AI security requirements, review methodologies, reference patterns, and supporting tools.

• Monitor portfolio trends, communicate significant risks and recurring issues, and escalate matters that require additional expertise or risk authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in building, integrating, assessing, or securing technical systems, with considerable recent hands-on experience in generative AI.

• Strong understanding of modern AI application architectures.

• Ability to analyze designs, trace data and system interactions, and identify critical security vulnerabilities.

• Knowledge of security fundamentals, including identity management, permissions, data protection, integrations, and monitoring.

• Capability to apply security principles to AI-enabled and agentic systems and align them with existing security policies and frameworks.

• Experience utilizing AI tools, APIs, cloud services, code, or automation.

• Proven ability to build trust and influence across engineering, product, creative, business, and security teams.

• Familiarity with emerging AI technologies, evolving security threats, AI risk frameworks, and industry developments.

• Excellent communication skills, empathy, sound judgment, creativity, capacity to challenge assumptions, navigate ambiguity, build trust, and work independently.

• Relevant certifications are preferred, including GAIPS, CISSP, CRISC, AIGP, CCSK, CCSP, or equivalent qualifications in AI, cloud, or security.
